After launching in China in late 2022, the Oppo Find N2 Flip has gone global with a second launch in other markets in February 2023.
This phone wasn’t alone in China, it was joined by the standard Oppo Find N2, with the N2 and N2 Flip being Oppo’s foldable rivals to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 respectively.
However, the standard N2 is not available worldwide, so you can easily buy the Oppo Find N2 Flip and even then it is not available in all regions.
Below you will find the full specs and details of both handsets, including availability and price for the Oppo Find N2 Flip.

Release date and price of Oppo Find N2 Flip and Find N2
The Oppo Find N2 series was unveiled on December 15, 2022 during the company’s annual Inno Day event in China. This launch was only in China, but the Oppo Find N2 Flip has since had a global launch, with a second launch on February 15, 2023.
The Find N2 Flip is now available for pre-order in the UK and will ship on March 2. Meanwhile, Oppo has announced that the Find N2 Flip will also launch in Australia on March 16, with pre-orders starting March 2. However, we wouldn’t expect it to be available in the US as there are few Oppo phones out there.
It also doesn’t look like the Oppo Find N2 will have the same broader use as the Flip, so if you were hoping to buy a Z Fold rival, you might be out of luck.
As for pricing, the Oppo Find N2 Flip costs £849 (around $1,025) in the UK and $1,499 in Australia. This makes it surprisingly affordable by foldable phone standards.
Oppo Find N2 Flip and Find N2 design and display
The Oppo Find N2 Flip looks very similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Motorola Razr (2022) and other foldable flip phones. So it has a normal smartphone-sized foldable screen, which when folded reduces the phone to a small size.
However, where rival phones have small displays, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is a larger 3.26-inch 382 x 720 AMOLED screen. It’s big enough to display six notifications at once, for example. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has only a 1.9-inch display.
The foldable screen on the Oppo Find N2 Flip is a 6.8-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 with a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+, a peak brightness of 1600 nits and 403 pixels per inch.
Oppo also claims that thanks to the improved hinge, the Find N2 Flip has an almost invisible crease on the foldable screen.
In total, the Find N2 Flip measures 166.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm when unfolded and 85.5 x 75.2 x 16mm when folded and weighs 191g. The colors available are Astral Black and Moonlight Purple. There is also a golden tint, but that’s only in China.
The standard Oppo Find N2 looks more like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, with a large 7.1-inch foldable AMOLED display with a resolution of 1792 x 1920 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Fold it up and you’re ready to enjoy an external 5.54-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2120 with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Find N2 has a lightweight design, weighing just 233g if you get the black vegan leather finish. It also comes in green and white versions of Gorilla Glass Victus, which are almost as light at 237g. By comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 weighs 263g.
Oppo Find N2 Flip and Find N2 with camera and battery
Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view. It also has a 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera, though of course as a foldable phone you can use the main cameras to take selfies anyway, with the cover screen used to set the shot.
As for the battery, it’s 4,300mAh – making it much larger than the batteries in other foldable flip-flops, and it charges at 44W.
The standard Oppo Find N2 has a triple camera with a 50 MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 48 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle and a 32 MP f/2.0 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. It also has two 32MP f/2.4 selfie cameras – one on each screen.
Its battery is 4520 mAh and charges at 67 W, which allows you to get from zero to 100% in about 42 minutes.
Oppo Find N2 Flip and Find N2 specs and features
The Oppo Find N2 Flip has the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, which is one of the most powerful chipsets of 2022, but less powerful than the new Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 that we’re likely to see in many 2023 phones.
The phone is currently only available in one configuration which has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are other models in China, but they are not sold worldwide.
It also supports 5G, has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs on Android 13 with the promise of four major OS updates and five years of security patches.
The Find N2 Flip uses the Oppo ColorOS 13 interface, just like the standard Oppo Find N2.
Speaking of the Oppo Find N2, which has the similarly powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and comes in two configurations – one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and the other with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
It also supports 5G and has a side fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. All in all, it looks like it could be one of the best foldable phones out there, so it’s a shame that only the Flip went global.
