Appearing on the stage at Oracle Cloud World 2022 in Las Vegas, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang joined Oracle CEO Safra Catz to extol the values of the extended partnership.
Huang noted that Nvidia’s move to move workloads to OCI will help users “find a way to let you do more without having to spend a lot more and use a lot more power.”
In the news will be services such as the Nvidia AI Enterprise platform for the first time at OCI, significantly expanding the capabilities of companies looking to enhance their AI offerings at every stage of the AI workflow, from data processing and training of AI models to simulation and large-scale deployment .
But soon it will also include Nvidia Clara, the company’s AI and HPC healthcare platform, enabling advances in fields such as medical imaging, genomics, natural language processing and drug discovery.
There is also a new early access to Nvidia Rapids, accelerating data processing on Apache Spark using the OCI Data Flow service and supporting the huge increase in demand for this type of service.
“To achieve long-term success in today’s business environment, organizations need answers and insights faster than ever,” said Catz. “Our expanded alliance with NVIDIA will bring the best of both companies’ expertise to help customers across industries – from healthcare and manufacturing to telecommunications and financial services – overcome the many challenges they face.”
